| Ashok Barat, Managing Director |
Ashok Barat, Managing Director, is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
He graduated from the University of Allahabad, in 1975. A rank holder of the University he was also a recipient of the Chancellor’s Gold Medal. He was also a winner of the A F Ferguson award for the best paper in Auditing in the examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
He began his career with Hindustan Lever Limited (as it was then called) and worked in positions of increasing responsibility, both in India and overseas, with Pepsi, Electrolux, Telstra and Heinz. He has been on various committees of the Bengal Chamber of Commerce, ASSOCHAM, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and is also a Visiting Faculty at IIM, Lucknow.
Presently, he is an Invitee Member on the Managing Committee of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry, ASSOCHAM and on the Board of Directors of a number of public and private companies.

| Amit Mittal, Director Finance |
Amit Mittal, Director - Finance, is a Chartered Accountant and brings to Forbes & Company Limited more than 17 years of global experience. Prior to joining Forbes, he held various finance, risk management and commercial roles in organisations like Hindustan Lever Limited and its parent Unilever PLC.
As a member of the leadership team, he is actively involved in the formulation of the strategic plans for the Company. This apart, he is directly responsible for formulating financial strategies and plans to enable the company in achieving its set out targets. He gives direction to the entire gamut of Financial Management of the organization including timely financial resource mobilization at minimum possible cost from varied sources, optimum utilization of funds, formulation of the annual financial budget and undertaking budgetary controls. He is also responsible for designing internal control systems commensurate with the size of the organization and for ensuring compliance with such systems. Being responsible for compliances of Company Law and other statutory requirements, he also gives direction to the Corporate Governance framework of the company.

| C.A. Karnik, Director HR |
With degrees in science and law, post graduation degrees in Business Management and Industrial Relations and Personnel Management and over 31 years of work experience, C.A. Karnik, Director - HR, heads the Human Resource function.
An alumnus of Bombay University and with experiences in both the public and the private sector, Mr. Karnik joined the Forbes Group in 1992 and since 1999, he has been heading the human resource function of the Group in the capacity of Director- Human Resources. He has also been appointed as a Director on the Board of several Forbes joint ventures and subsidiaries.
Mr. Karnik has considerable achievements in the area of Organisational Development by administering initiatives such as Climate Surveys, Management Development, Performance Management, 360 degree Leadership Survey, etc. He also introduced the long term productivity linked wage agreements in the company and had a major contribution in ‘Organisation Restructuring through right-sizing, multi-skilling and outsourcing.
Mr. Karnik is a Member of the HR Committee of the Employers Federation of India, he is a Member of the HRM Committee of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce & Industry, he is also a Life Member of the National Institute of Personnel Management and a Member of the National HRD Network.

Ajay Singh is the Chief Executive Officer of Forbes Technosys Limited. He is responsible for the technology focussed businesses of Forbes & Company Limited that include the Business Automation Division.
He has over 25 years experience in the IT industry, in India and overseas, in sales, marketing, operations, product management and management of independent profit centres.
He has an M.Sc. degree from Sheffied Hallam University, UK and a PG Diploma in Computer Systems. He has also attended Management Programmes in XLRI Jamshedpur and IIM Calcutta. He is an expert in Total Quality Management and Business Excellence and a qualified trainer in the Phil Crosby methodology.
