Suresh L Goklaney, Executive Vice Chairman
Suresh Goklaney is the Executive Vice Chairman of Eureka Forbes and Chairman of its subsidiaries, Aquamall Water Solutions Ltd. and  Forbes Aquamall Ltd. He is also on the Board of Directors of several companies including Forbes & Company, Lux International AG, Switzerland – one of the world’s oldest direct sales companies, and Infinite Water Solutions (a joint venture between  Eureka Forbes &  GE ).

Suresh has been the architect of building Eureka Forbes from a single product, single channel company with a turnover of Rs. 200 mn. in 1987-88 to a multi- product, multi- channel organisation with a turnover in excess of  Rs. 12,000 mn. in 2009-10; over 8 mn. satisfied customers and a market leader in every segment it operates in.   He is the custodian of 3 Superbrands – ‘Eureka Forbes’ ‘Aquaguard’ and ‘Euroclean’ which he is responsible for building during his tenure with EFL.

Suresh Goklaney’s extensive career spans over 4 decades, beginning with a leading advertising agency followed by successful stints with Proctor & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson.   His career with Eureka Forbes Ltd.  began in 1987 when he joined as Vice President, Sales & Marketing. He rapidly transitioned the Corporate ladder as Executive Vice President - 1990; Joint President - 1992; Chief Executive Officer - August 1994. He was elevated to Managing Director - February 1996, Vice Chairman & Managing Director - March 2007, and is currently Executive Vice Chairman effective June 2010. 

Suresh has completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, and has facilitated Guest Lectures at Harvard, Berkeley, and several leading Indian and International Business Schools.

Suresh’s passion is to reach out to the community from which he has got so much. He is active in social out-reach programmes, and is on the board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Bombay- Director-in-Charge of Community Service (Non-Medical) and the President of the Council for Fair Business Practices (CFBP).


Dr. Raman Venkatesh, Sr Vice President - Technology & Corporate Development
Dr. Raman Venkatesh is Senior Vice President – Technology & Corporate Development.

In this role, he is responsible for new product and business development functions, with a specific focus on bringing new product and technology innovations to the market.  He provides overall leadership to the 18 Aquachek Labs across the country.  He is also a key member of the senior strategy team and oversees enterprise risk management endeavors.   As the head of corporate development, he is also charged with the identification, due diligence and deal structuring of M&A opportunities and corporate strategic alliances.  

Raman joined Eureka Forbes in December 2008.

Raman graduated with a B.E. (Hons.) from BITS, Pilani, and then went on to get M.S. & Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, where he won the ‘Outstanding Graduate Student’ award.   Subsequently in his career, he earned an Executive MBA from Katz School of Business, University of Pittsburgh.  He has more than 20 publications to his credit in international journals and conferences, and given invited lectures at various universities.   He has received the prestigious American ‘Hero of Chemistry’ award for commercializing a pioneering drinking water technology in the U.S.

Raman has worked with a number of well known companies in both U.S. and India, including Southern Petrochemical Industries, Calgon Carbon Corporation, Unilever (Global Technology Centre) and KX Technologies (now part of Berkshire Hathaway group of companies).  Prior to joining Eureka Forbes, he was Director, New Business Development at American Chemical Society in Washington DC. 


Adi Jehangir Shroff, Chief Information Officer & Sr. Vice President
Adi Shroff is Chief Information Officer and Sr. Vice President, Corporate Human  Resources

Adi joined Eureka Forbes in December 2008 as the CIO, responsible for achieving business success through IT and creating a successful IT infrastructure and application support. His job responsibilities include Strategic Planning for meeting current and future Information & Technology needs, enforcing Security Policies and Procedures, People Management.

He also heads the Corporate Human Resources and his responsibilities include cultivating creative leaders, mobilizing for speed and flexibility and capitalizing on collective intelligence.

After his graduation he did “Systems Engineering” from Japan

In Adi’s professional career that spans 39 years, he has held senior positions in the IT function, in a number of well known companies such as Essar Energy Holdings, Lupin Ltd., Sterlite Industries, United Phosphorus, ACC, including a posting in Sydney with Kimberly Clark Australia Pty.Ltd

In his last assignment, Adi was the CIO of Essar Holdings Ltd.


Marzin R. Shroff, CEO - Direct Sales & Sr. Vice President - Marketing
Marzin is the CEO – Direct Sales & Sr. Vice President – Marketing.
He is the brand trustee of 3 Superbrands – Aquaguard, Euroclean and Eureka Forbes, and has the task of steering the largest vertical of Eureka Forbes. His responsibility is thought leadership, category leadership, and market leadership. Marzin proactively manages business risks and is responsible for cultivating best in class talent, along with building strong leadership and succession plans.

Marzin is a Chartered Marketer from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK, and has an MBA in Marketing.
Marzin started his career as a Brand Manager at Eureka Forbes.  Subsequently he has been associated with, consulted, and trained a number of well known companies. His last stint was with Suashish Diamonds where he set up their Brand operations. In a career spanning over 17 years, Marzin has acquired multi-dimensional experience in Direct Marketing, Advertising, Strategy, Luxury Branding, International liaison & Corporate Communications.   He returned home to EFL in 2006 as Sr. Vice President Strategy, Business Development & Knowledge Management and successfully concluded a joint venture deal with GE.
 
Marzin has a passion for Jazz, reading and travelling.  He has shared his experiences by giving guest lectures at the IIM, MICA, FICCI, CII etc.


Aslam A. Karmali, CEO - Consumer Division
Aslam Karmali is the CEO of the Consumer Division vertical.

Aslam joined Eureka Forbes in May 2006. Aslam’s role includes providing strategic and business leadership for Consumer Division vertical which has a fast track growth. He is responsible for closely monitoring competition and aggressively growing market share. Aslam proactively manages business risks. He is also responsible for attaining and retaining the best in class talent, along with building strong leadership and succession plans.

Aslam has a Bachelor of Science from Mumbai University and Master of Management Studies, with specialization in Marketing.

He started his career with Bajaj Electricals Ltd and moved onto Philips India Ltd.  In a career span of 20 years, his experience cuts across brand management, consumer & trade marketing, channel management, franchisee direct sales, retail sales, rural marketing & sales and factory management.
 


A V Suresh , CEO of Forbes Professional, EFL, and Executive Director of Forbes Lux Group,
A.V. Suresh is the CEO of Forbes Professional, EFL, and Executive Director of Forbes Lux Group, Switzerland.

AVS has been with Eureka Forbes since December 1988. As CEO of Forbes Professional AVS has the task of steering the fastest growing vertical of Eureka Forbes. Additionally AVS leads Eureka Forbes’s foray in international markets.

AVS is a Cartwright Gold Medalist in Mechanical Engg ( B.E.) from Madras University and a P.G D.M. from IIM, Calcutta

In a career that spans over 25 years, AVS has multi-dimensional experience. In Eureka Forbes, he has made significant contributions by heading Sales and Marketing, Customer Service, HR, Logistics, CEO - Aquamall Water Solutions Limited (world’s premier manufacturer of UV water and other technologies)

Prior to joining EFL, AVS worked in Materials, Production & Corporate Planning at Facit Asia Ltd.

He is a keen sports enthusiast and has won many National Tennis tournaments. He is an active Rotarian and is a member of Rotary Club of Deonar, Mumbai.


R. K. Ganguly, Sr. Vice President - Customer Service, CRM & Region Head (East)
Ranjan Ganguly is Senior Vice President, Customer Service and additionally Region Head (East).  Ranjan’s  role includes providing strategic and business leadership for Service vertical . He is responsible  to innovate services with speed for customer delight and proactively manage business risks. He is also responsible for attaining and retaining the best in class talent, along with building strong leadership and succession plans.

Ranjan has been with Eureka Forbes since 1981 and holds the distinction of being the first employee at EFL who with his unified focus and leadership has made it up the ranks.
         
Ranjan has a B.Com ( Hons ) and a ICWAI ( Inter ).

In a career that spans over 30 years, Ranjan has multi-dimensional experience in Accounts & Commercial, Logistics, Direct Sales, Customer Service, CRM. Under his leadership, Eastern region has set benchmarks for consecutive winning of Best Region for Accounts, Service , and the coveted MD’s Award for overall business excellence successively.


R.S. Moorthy , Vice President - Finance, Accounts and Logistics
R.S. Moorthy is Vice President - Finance, Accounts and Logistics

He joined Eureka Forbes in February 1990.

Moorthy has a B.Sc in Mathematics and is an FCA.

Moorthy is responsible for all the accounting and supply chain activities, including framing and implementation. He also manages all the treasury and finance functions for Eureka Forbes. Additionally he also manages all the international accounting and finance of the International Division for ASEAN countries.

In a career spanning 24 years, Moorthy has multidimensional experience in Accounts, Finance, Internal Audit, International Finance and Logistics.

Prior to joining Eureka Forbes Moorthy was Accounts- in- charge ( West ) – The General Electric Company of India Limited.


V. Mathialagan, Vice-President of Direct Sales
V. Mathialagan is the Vice-President of Direct Sales and his responsibilities include looking after pan India Direct Sales Branch operations at CRCs, Franchise Direct Operations and Security Systems.

Mathi got B.Sc from St. Joseph’s College, Bangalore and a post-graduate in Economics from Bangalore University. He joined Eureka Forbes in 1986.

Mathi started his career as a frontline Eurochamp. Over the years he has held increasing levels of responsibility, and has been instrumental in strengthening the Direct Sales business.
 
Through his high quality leadership, business acumen and administrative capabilities, Mathi has been actively involved in the success of the Direct Sales business, both in terms of growth and profitability..

He has been instrumental in providing Real Time Information through SAP, which helped young Direct Sales leaders in their strategizing, decision making and building effective Sales Force Management systems. He also has to his credit developing many successful Leaders.

Mathi has worked on EFL Direct Sales as a Case Study and presented it at the Harvard Business School in 2004. This is also used as a case study for Sales Force Management worldwide.

His interests are Gardening, Canine training, Lecturing and Mentoring research students on Relationship Management and Life Time Customer Value
